Consequences of moisture

Moisture causes oxidation of metallic parts. The consequences of this phenomenon are easily appreciated, particularly when these parts are to be fitted in a mechanical unit, as they are no longer solid enough to support certain movement, or they are damaged and no longer integrated with the unit.

Recommendations of our team

To protect against damage, it is recommended to wrap the parts in individual, airtight packaging, together with a desiccant sachet. For this application, either clay or silica gel is used.
