Consequences of moisture

The effects of moisture are manifested
in a variety of ways :

· musty odours
· mould and mildew
· rust stains
· deterioration of fine fabrics such as silk
· oxidation of metallic trims
· discoloration of certain leathers and
  fragile hides like suede.

Recommendations of our team

It is recommended that clothes be stored in a protective cover together with a desiccant sachet.

Two types of sachets are usually used for these applications :
· a sachet is suspended on the coat hanger with a
small cord which is attached to the coat hanger
  under the cover
· a sachet is slipped into the pockets of the
  clothing.
